Kontura holds the Swedish agency Team Management Profile, an evidence-based tool for development both on a group level and on an individual level. It is not a personality test in the ordinary sense, but rather a development tool. The personality is mapped out, but mainly in the work process and in the group role. The individual profiles can then be combined into team profiles which indicate the strenghts and weaknesses of the group in relation to the challenges within the organization.      

TMP – Team Management Profile

Each person answers a digital form of 60 questions and then receives an individual profile (26-30 pages) in both a physical and digital form. The profile shows the driving forces that govern the person’s choices and attitudes at work (see attached for a dummy). This is also combined with a group profile where all participants can see the group’s big picture and understand when the group works well together and when conflicts may arise. TMP does not put labels on people but it is very much based on working up towards the group’s understanding of each other’s differences in order to develop high performing teams.

Science

TMP is based on Carl Jung’s theory of personality types and is based on and adapted to the universal work process. The tool has been developed by the two researchers dr. Charles Margerison and dr. Dick McCann and has extensive scientific documentation that meets very strict requirements for reliability. (See links for the summary and the report). TMP is developed and is constantly evolving through research and is evidence-based with 500,000 managers in a global database.

The price

A requirement from TMSDI in York is that an accredited TMP supervisor goes through the basics with TMP. In connection with this opportunity, the people get their personal Team Management Profile but also the common group result of seesaws, dominant and related roles. We at Kontura have experienced consultants who are accredited TMP supervisors. One TMP costs SEK 1500 excluding VAT. In addition to this, there is an hourly cost for the TMP supervisor.
