Åke has worked as a management and organizational consultant for 15 years with experience from both public administration and private industry. The consulting assignments range from strategic work and change management, to management team development and manager development. Åke’s more than 10 years of experience from a  diversity of senior positions in management teams as well as on the board in both Swedish and international service organizations, is essential in these assignments, many having farreaching structural effects on whole organizations. With this broad experience, Åke is used to and comfortable with facing new challenges and to working at the senior level. He is a strong analyst, and has the well-honed skills essential in supporting managers in finding ways to manage, organize and steer change processes in accordance with objectives. His considerable societal interest coupled with an interest in how to engage people in processes of change are the foundation of consultant assignments that use culture as a lever to achieve change. Åke is the initiator and developer of a number of Kontura’s concepts that have a bearing on change management and management models. The driving force behind development work is in finding models that integrate both “hard” and “soft” values in their application.

Åke has 15 years of experience in leadership and change management in Swedish and international service organizations, both in management teams and on boards of directors. His experience ranges from sales and business development, to organizational development and personnel management, including the roles of President and Market/Customer services Manager, as well as Management consultant. Media, IT & Outsourcing, Telecom, Banking & Finance and public administration are the sectors that Åke has mainly been working in. In his operational management positions, he has acquired vast knowledge of companies during phases of transformation and growth. Åke is a Director and founder of a company operating in the outsourcing of accounting services.
